Armchair F588 and ottoman by Geoffrey Harcourt for Artifort, 1960

Superb chaise longue, model F588, designed by the famous English designer Geoffrey Harcourt in the 1960s for Artifort. This mid-20th century lounge chair is a design essential and surely has one of the most comfortable seats! Timeless and elegant, this brown leather swivel chair with tufting will be a centrepiece in your interior. Overall in very good condition, the leather has a lovely patina. The ottoman is not quite the same shade as the chair. A few scratches can be noted on the edges of the seat. The cushions are no longer attached to the backrest, but this does not hinder its use. All buttons are present. The Artifort signature is located under the chair and under the ottoman. The swivel base of the chair works well.
