Rare Danish Art Nouveau table lamp by Just Andersen in Diskometal, Model 2288, 1920 (Set of 2)

An astonishing and rare table lamp in patinated Disko metal. Created by Danish designer Just Andersen in the 1920s. Model 2288, signed underneath. The two-piece set is in good vintage condition. Just Andersen (1884-1943) is a representative of modern Danish neoclassicism, mainly associated with the Art Deco movement, although his work transcends this style. He participated in several world exhibitions, received awards, and is exhibited in international museums, including the Metropolitan Museum in New York.
