Sculptural cube lamp "Cuboluce" designed by Franco Bettonica and Mario Melocchi in 1972 and produced by Cini & Nils. 1970s, Italy. Materials: Moulded white methacrylate. Condition: Good vintage condition. Dimensions: H 29 cm, W 26.3 cm, D 26.3 cm. White/ivory methacrylate without yellowing (rare after 50 years). Cube in perfect condition, upper grilles and transparent base ring intact. Slight crack on internal base grille (not visible once assembled, does not affect functionality). Embossed marking "CINI & NILS / design: OPI milano / modello depositato / made in Italy" under the base. Iconic design of Italian minimalism. The Cuboluce emits a warm light upwards through its geometric grille. šŸ“ Available now in Brussels.
