Vintage coffee table from the 1970s or 1980s, characterised by the work of designers like Christian Krekels or the Belgo Chrom house. The top is made of epoxy resin containing real dried and skeletonised leaves. The veins of the leaves are highlighted by a golden or ochre hue, creating an organic and luxurious effect that was highly sought after during the Hollywood Regency period. The top is octagonal with bevelled edges, a geometric shape typical of retro-chic design. The table rests on a removable pedestal base. The frame and base are in glossy black lacquer, creating a strong contrast with the golden top. It is a sought-after decorative piece today by Mid-Century and Vintage design enthusiasts, as it combines a natural aspect with a very graphic and sophisticated aesthetic. The table is stable, and the top is in good condition with no significant scratches. Width 120/50, depth 70, height 37.
