Vinyl player radio unit

Here is a renovated wooden vinyl record player radio unit from the saba brand! This piece of furniture dates from the 1950s, the radio and speakers are original and still work very well. The old vinyl player no longer worked and was not repairable (lack of parts), it was replaced by a more recent turntable from the same brand, with new features such as Bluetooth, possibility of connecting a USB key or auxiliary speakers. As for the renovation, the furniture was first completely dismantled and cleaned down to the smallest nooks and crannies. The old dark varnish being damaged in places, it was completely stripped and sanded before being protected by several layers of colorless antique wax. The gilding was bricked to bring out its shine. The interior of the furniture, in the part reserved for the vinyl player, was painted in a creamy beige to give more modernity. Even if they have undergone a meticulous renovation and makeover in the workshop, they may nevertheless show signs of wear which have not been erased to preserve all their charm and history.
