Vintage Art Deco style table lamp, face sculpture, silver-toned bust.

A vintage sculptural table lamp with a base that is a cast metal bust representing a serene face tilted upwards, eyes closed, in a smooth Art Deco-inspired style. The figure is plated with a polished silver-tone finish with warm golden tones appearing, and rests on a flat rectangular black base. A fine metal rod supports a white fabric conical drum shade, and the black cord has an inline switch. A remarkable piece that functions both as a lamp and as a sculpture on a sideboard, console, or bedside table. In good vintage condition with visible signs of age and use. The plating on the figure is worn in places, with areas of golden tone appearing on the face and chest, and it has some small dark spots and tarnish marks. The black base has slight scratches on the top and a small chip on the front edge. The fabric shade has a yellowed stain on the lower edge, a few small orange marks on the edge, as well as light scratches and creases. The cord has a few small marks. The lamp was working at the time of the photo. Height: 54 cm. Base: 22 X 15 cm. Depth: 29 cm.
