Persian carpet 312x220 cm

Very large persian carpet from the 90s made entirely by hand. This iranian bakthiar carpet is made of wool on cotton. The wool is thick and the carpet is soft. The dominant color is red. You can also see the wide range of colors used in the design of this large room. The whole is in good see very good condition. However, it should be noted the partial discoloration of wool, which gives this product a beautiful patina. The fringes are also in good condition despite discoloration and partial wear on one side. I also point out a small cotton ball quite visible, see last scan. I specify that these cotton balls sometimes visible on carpets are the result of a break in a weft thread during knotting. The weavers or rather the knotters then make a knot to resume their work. Knotting: 90, 000 knots per ² meter. This carpet is perfectly clean, cleaned in a traditional and ecological way.
