The pair of venini extra large chandeliers,  attributed to toni zuccheri, designed in italy during the 1970s, exemplifies the luxurious and artistic craftsmanship associated with murano glass. Toni zuccheri often integrated organic textures and experimental techniques, as seen in the undulating glass surface of these chandeliers. This kind of glass is called tronchi, which means trunk, as it imitates the wood trunk shapes. During the mid-century modern period, zucheri closely cooperated with venini, one of the most prestigious murano glass manufacturers. The chandeliers feature a composition of cylindrical glass tubes arranged in a cascading, tiered formation on a chrome-plated frame. Due to the large number of thick crystal shades - 20 pieces each - the whole chandelier weighs over 20kg. Glasswork allows light to refract beautifully, creating a warm and diffused atmosphere. These chandeliers reflect the mid-century modern aesthetic, combining elegance with a sculptural presence. They would be an excellent fit for high-end interiors, including luxury residences, hotels, or galleries, blending vintage italian craftsmanship with timeless elegance. Our team has checked the lamps and replaced the wiring, providing proper functioning. Overall, these extraordinary lamps are in excellent original condition, with minor signs of use on the chrome frames. The lampshades do not have any cracks or defects. Additional details. Each lamp requires 20 X e27 bulbs. They are not included in the set. Dimension of each chandelier: h: 135/ ø 48 cm.
