Beautiful, rare, unique. A collection teapot made of glazed earthenware, studio ceramic, American, vintage from the 1950s-1970s, in the style of the works of David Constantine White and more broadly of the American studio pottery movement of the post-war period. Abstract decoration in bright colours on a blue background. Balanced organic shape with an elongated spout and a fitted lid. The handle in earthenware with a black patina has a more raw appearance that contrasts with the coloured glaze. Painted signature under the base to be identified. In very good overall condition, with some firing irregularities and minor wear on the handle, as well as a discreet 2mm chip on the spout.
