This exceptionally elegant round extension dining table, veneered in rosewood, was designed and manufactured in denmark in the 1960s. The unparalleled vibrancy and rich grain of the rosewood veneer with its contrasting tones, give the table an eye-catching, diverse look, highlighting the beauty of the wood. The rio palisander grain appears almost hypnotic with all trough continuous pattern. The table features two additional leaves, perfectly matched with the tabletop. The beautifully finished rim in solid rosewood, gives the table a unique appearance, making it a decorative piece in itself. The extension system was produced by cj rosengaard, the danish pioneer in aluminum slides and extension rails for furniture. With the addition of precisely carved, solid rosewood detachable legs, the table showcases the high quality and craftsmanship of danish artisans, as well as the scandinavian fondness for functionality. Additional dimensions: Height to the apron: 64 cm. Width of a single additional leaf: 49 cm. The table has been checked by our team, and it remains in excellent original condition. The sliding mechanism works smoothly, and the surface has been cleaned and preserved with professional compounds. A truly captivating vintage gem.
