Rare and sculptural, this iconic lamp from the Art Deco period stands out with its architecturally structured double volume silhouette, composed of a spherical base and a large hemispherical dome. Made of frosted moulded pressed glass, it is adorned with geometric relief patterns, typical of the decorative vocabulary of the 1920s–1930s, evoking both monumental architecture and a stylised floral abstraction. The quality of the glass, the precision of the decoration, and the balance of proportions allow this model to be attributed to the production of the Muller Brothers, a renowned French glassworks known for the excellence of its Art Deco creations. When lit, the lamp emits a soft and enveloping light, subtly highlighting the relief of the glass; when off, it retains a strong decorative presence, almost sculptural. Condition: very good overall condition. A very slight chip on the edge of the dome is noted, completely invisible once the fitting is in place. The electrics have been completely refurbished, ready for use. Dimensions: – Height: 43 cm. – Diameter: 23 cm. A refined and timeless piece, ideal for an Art Deco interior, a minimalist contemporary decor, or a discerning collection of 20th-century decorative arts.
