Vintage Murano glass catchall / dish

Origin: Italy (Venice / Murano) – The item still has its original authenticity label partially preserved on the inner wall, stating "Murano - Venezia - Made in Italy." Material: Hand-blown glass, thick and heavy, typical of the craftsmanship of Italian glassmakers from the mid-20th century. Colour: A stunning two-tone dress. The main body features a deep and luminous ruby red / brick red hue, while the base and heart of the bowl reveal very warm amber / honey reflections in the light. Shape and Design. This item adopts an organic and sculptural design typical of the 1950s to 1970s. Viewed from the front, it presents elongated lines evoking a hat or stylised shell shape. Viewed from above, its edges elegantly fold towards the centre to form two pointed lobes, reminiscent of a heart or butterfly silhouette.
