Baumann desk and chair

A beautiful baumann set including a 540 desk and a mondor chair. Of a perfect harmony both by their shapes and their dimensions! This vintage set has been completely renovated and restored in beauty in a mix of natural shade and linen white tint. The desk includes a beech veneer top, tapered beech compass feet, a 1-door storage box with 2 pull brackets and a magnetic closure, a drawer with anti-fall cleat and tone-on-tone painted background. The latter is covered with a removable floral wallpaper. The handles are original. They were sandblasted and then covered with gold paint. A functional office for juniors and adults! The chair is the iconic mondor model in its low-back version. It seduces with its clean lines typical of the 60s and 70s. His file is openwork at its base. It is fixed to the seat by two golden phillips screws on either side of the openwork. The tapered feet are like the solid beech desk.  its generous seat and curved backrest make it a comfortable and enveloping office chair. The wooden parts (desk and chair) have been protected by a colourless matte varnish. Delivery dismantled desk feet. High quality applied paint (little greene brand approved safe for children according to toy standard bs en71-3; 2013) paint brush bottle provided for possible traces of use. Office weight: 19.9kg.
