Transformable dining table "Quadrondo" – Erwin Nagel for Rosenthal

Rare Quadrondo table designed by Erwin Nagel for Rosenthal Einrichtung, emblematic of German design from the 1980s. Its ingenious mechanism allows the top of a round table to be transformed into a square table in a matter of seconds thanks to four pivoting panels. A design that is as playful as it is functional, the top features a stunning veneer in a geometric pattern forming a diamond shape when deployed, paired with a central cylindrical black base. Dimensions: * Diameter: 125 cm. * Open: 125 × 125 cm. * Height: 75 cm. Perfectly functional mechanism. The table shows visible signs of use: * wear and chips on the black base; * wear on some edges; * a chip in the veneer on one corner; * a tear in the veneer on one panel (visible in the photo). These defects are mainly aesthetic and do not affect its functionality. Visible in Marseille. The top and base are screwed together.
