Old glazed door 211.5x105.5cm and its entrance door frame.

Entrance door made of fir with an oak frame from the 19th century, with generous dimensions: the door measures 105.5 cm wide by 211.5 cm high (and 3 cm thick). There are spaces for 2 panes (39.5 cm X 113 cm each) at the top, intentionally left empty, allowing you to choose glazing that is thicker or thinner, more or less decorative, and more or less secure, depending on its intended use, more or less translucent, or even two mirrors... Painted in matte beige on one side and cream white on the other, it comes with a functioning lock and key, period brass handles, and a bolt (there are traces of a second bolt in the upper part, which is currently absent). There are marks from previous fixings for a pair of shutters, certainly, with 3 points on each side of the frame (easily concealable with the simple addition of moulded strips, for example), where the marks of the old sealing brackets for fixing the door frame are also visible. Additionally, there is a trace of an old pull handle in the centre of the door. We have screwed a board at the bottom of the frame to maintain the squareness of the whole. The carpentry is in generally good condition, although the lower parts of the frame's uprights (the parts to be set in the ground) are somewhat damaged (but will not be visible after installation); overall, it is robust, solid, and weighs 80 kg (door + frame). This wide model of door, which is panelled and moulded on all sides at the bottom, originally designed as an entrance door, could serve as a large communication door in a corridor... Oak frame with mortise and tenon joints, pegged, 7 cm thick. Total dimensions: 225 cm high (+9 cm in the ground), 122.5 cm wide, and 7 cm deep.
