Charlotte Perriand, Le Corbusier “LC7” Swivel Chair for Cassina, 1927, Italy

This emblematic armchair 'lc7' was designed by charlotte perriand in 1927 for her own flat in paris. In 1928, it was exhibited at the salon des artistes décorateurs and a year later joined the le corbusier, pierre jeanneret and charlotte perriand collection at the salon d'automne. The Italian manufacturer Cassina started producing the 'lc7' in 1978. The 'lc7' has four tubular steel legs that meet under the round seat. The seat as well as the tubular and horizontal armrest are made of original soft white leather. Originally marked. Identification number 19151. Certified original Cassina edition.
