Vintage Stella chair pair – wood, 1950s

Charming pair of Stella chairs from the 1950s made of bent wood, featuring the typical design of bistro and school chairs of the era. Their elegant silhouette with armrests and a slatted backrest gives them a lot of character while remaining visually light. The chairs have been fully sanded, treated against pests, and then protected with a "bistro" varnish from Liberon, which provides a beautiful satin finish and good resistance to daily use. Both are stamped "Stella – Trademark and registered model / A Stella seat will last, " an iconic signature of the brand. Perfect around a table, in a kitchen, an office, or a vintage, country, mid-century, or family home interior. Note: one of the chairs shows signs of old woodworm galleries on a front leg. The wood has been treated, the marks are old and now stabilised. This does not detract from the chair's sturdiness or usability, but it is part of their history and vintage charm.
