Pair of bistro chairs n°18

#classiquevintage we have all sat on a bistro chair no. 18 at some point, it is the typical chair of brasseries and bistros from the second half of the 19th century and a large part of the 20th century. Its structure, known for being very solid, uses the technique of bent wood for its four legs, its rear uprights, the backrest, the seat belt and the crotch of the base. These have caning that is still in good condition (slightly relaxed on one of them). This thonet model made in czechoslovakia between the 50s and 60s has no label under the seat (it has come off over time or has been removed by its owner). Seats that we like to see mismatched in our contemporary interiors.
