Black earth globe old wood base

Here is a nice invitation to travel or a good excuse to go on holiday! This pretty scandinavian glow globe is as decorative as it is educational. With a nice design, it was produced by the danish firm scan globe a/s for the french publisher taride. The land is represented in colour on a black background which offers nice contrasts. It has a wooden base. It will be perfect in vintage decoration and to sharpen the curiosity of our aspiring geographers. Dimensions 30.5cm in diameter, height 42cm. The luminous world map is functional, traces of shock and gaps are visible especially on the top of the globe. The globe is stamped by the danish manufacturer "scan globe" and was made for taride.
