Oval rolling serving trolley in gilded brass – France, 1960s. Elegant two-tier serving trolley, in the pure French neoclassical spirit of the 60s, reminiscent of the productions of Maison Jansen and Maison Baguès. Features: • Entirely gilded brass structure, finely crafted. • Two oval glass trays, surrounded by openwork galleries with baluster motifs. • Removable top tray serving as a serving tray, with brass coiled handles. • Lower tray equipped with an integrated 3-ring bottle holder. • Fluted legs in the Louis XVI style, with beaded capitals and acanthus leaf finials. • Four swivel brass casters with original rubber wheels. Condition: Very good overall condition. Beautiful original patina of the brass (slight oxidation in places, normal and enhancing – can be revived with a gentle product like Miror). Glasses intact. Only a small scratch on the top tray (see last photo). Functional casters: the mechanism squeaks and there is some play in the legs, but the trolley rolls.
