Set of 2 lounge chairs by Cees Braakman for Pastoe

This set of 2 chairs are from the late 1950's. A design by Cees Braakman for Pastoe and part of the birch series. The model of this chair is FB-05 and FB-06. The birch series are famous for the use of bended plywood, something you see in these chairs as well. They have been reupholstered in the past in this fabric that feels a bit like terry cloth. Both chairs have had some restoration to it and are ready for many more years of joy.
