Scandinavian Art Deco Vase by Aino Aalto

Ribbed/ribbed glass vase from the scandinavian "bölgeblick" series by finnish designer and architect aino aalto. Aino aalto and her husband alvar aalto created houses and public buildings but were also great designers of furniture and decorative objects (alvar aalto also produced a very famous vase, the "savoy" vase). In excellent condition. Has a small manufacturing defect (a bubble at the edge of the vase) but which does not prevent normal use. This vase has very pretty curves and a very marked style of the art deco period. Does not seem to be produced anymore today.
