Bac / Orange tree box – Classic style – Painted oak

Classic French traditional orange tree box, made of painted oak. The structure rests on four square posts topped with turned finials in the shape of acorns, characteristic of Versailles-style orange tree boxes. The four sides are dressed with panels of joined vertical slats, framed by horizontal crosspieces. The bottom is treated with slats to ensure drainage. The paint, in a beige hue with grey undertones, shows significant chipping and wear, revealing the wood in several places. This patinated appearance is consistent with the age of the piece. A repainting or cleaning may be required depending on the intended use. Dimensions: H. 95 cm – W. 70 cm – Estimated weight: 80 kg.
