Vintage wooden marquetry serving tray - Art Deco 1930s

Superb oval serving tray from the Art Deco period (circa 1930), emblematic of the modernist style. Clean geometric lines and an elegant contrast of materials. The base in blonde wood veneer (oak or walnut) beautifully highlights the contrasting elements in dark wood (rosewood or mahogany), particularly its two side handles sculpted from the solid and its curved edges. CONDITION: very good vintage condition, the base of the tray is patinated with some signs of age, including a few scratches that are difficult to capture in the photos. Will be packaged with the utmost care.
