Magic Box Workshop Bureau Genestar in Paris - 1960s

Magic Box desk from the Genestar workshops in Paris, dating from the 1960s. This folding desk, a rare French version, is covered in bottle green faux leather. It is a modernised version of the "Wooton" desk introduced in 1874, later revisited in 1928 by Swiss architects Mummenthaler and Meier. The interior is made of maple and teak, while the exterior is in dark green faux leather. Lamp installed, tested, and functional. Wear consistent with age and use.
