Trilobed vase Fernand Elchinger

Very beautiful handkerchief vase signed Elchinger from the 1950s. Black/silver with bright red touches. Signature under the vase. Fernand Elchinger (1911-1975) is one of the great mid-century ceramists, known for his free-form productions, "handkerchief" vases, and especially for the contrast between deep blacks and vibrant yellows, reds, or greens! "Céramiques Elchinger" is a family business established in Soufflenheim, Alsace, in 1834. Since then, generations have succeeded one another, offering a production that is as varied as it is avant-garde.
