Empty shell ceramic pocket from vallauris

The least we can say about this pocket empty is that it does not go unnoticed! Its large size, its shell shape and its magnificent colors, white and green pulling towards turquoise, on a background of brown and caramel make it a very original decorative object that does not leave indifferent. It has a remnant of inscription "vallauris" in felt at the back. It has no break or crack, but 4 or 5 chips on the enamelling, the smallest, on the perimeter are almost invisible, the last one a little more visible is on the tip of the shell, but we do not pay attention to it: the pocket tray being quite flat, we see especially the iridescent colors of the upper part, and finally little the tip of the shell which is directed downwards. It measures about 28 cm by 28 cm, 8 cm in maximum height and weighs 1.3 kg.
