This pair of dining chairs dates from the 1950s. Made of solid beech, their design is clearly inspired by models created by Charles Ramos. We love their wide backrest, with the curved frame shape and the inverted trapezoidal slats that somewhat resemble a harp. The space left on both sides adds transparency and lightness to the backrest. The wide, padded, and comfortable seats are upholstered in empire green velvet, which appears lighter depending on the angle from which you view them. We have cleaned them with sommières earth. One of them has a lighter area (see photo), but this is not a stain; it seems to be due to wear on the velvet. Despite the signs of time, they remain beautiful, and their Scandinavian spirit makes an impact. Price for the pair of chairs. Height: 91 cm. Width: 45 cm. Depth: 48 cm. Seat height: 45 cm. Weight: 2 x 5.30 kg.
