Empire-style hot water bottle lamp

This solid bronze gold lamp, empire-style, with two lights, is characterized by its green painted metal lampshade of its décor and the cup in which its foot rests. The bronze finish highlights the quality and precision of its décor. The solid bronze cup is decorated with fine chisels as well as the two arms bearing the candles. The lampshade slides on a thin, finished rod of an arrow tail to adjust the height in reference to the candle-like period models whose size was reduced as the combustion occurred. Excellent condition.
