070-series 2,5-seater sofa by Kho Liang Ie for Artifort, The Netherlands 1964

This is a 2,5-seater sofa from the 070-series by Kho Liang Ie for Artifort. The design dates back to 1964 and this sofa is an early edition that has only been in production for a short period at that time. "Simply slim, clean lines, an elegant base and the single row of buttons as a finishing touch. There is such a thing as timeless design. With its pleasant, slightly raised and not too deep seat, the 070 provides a graceful contrast to all the excessive, soft and low lounge sofas of today." - Artifort. The sofa has new foam and a new fabric by Bute Fabrics in a beautiful warm and light yellow color : Magic CF1105/0315, color Magic Bewitched 05. We also have a blue Bute fabric 2-seater version available. All in a very good condition, with only signs of age and use on the black metal frame. What a beauty to have in your room!
