Mooi suspension

This extraordinary pendant light, a true sculpture suspended in space, was created by Bertjan Pot in 2001. This lightweight globe is made by randomly wrapping fiberglass threads around an inflatable mold. The structure is then hardened with resin, which gives it strength and resistance.
