Some traces of black bic on the armrest of one and traces on the seat of another. See photos. Very beautiful pieces. ——————- Charlotte Perriand Indochine Chair For Cassina Designed in 1943 by Charlotte Perriand, this timeless chair is the wooden interpretation of the modern Fauteuil tournant en métal tubulaire designed by the same author. The chair was designed in Vietnam, using the materials and artisanal techniques that could be found during the war. "What could be softer than touching a polished fir table top, smooth as a woman's legs," remarked Charlotte Perriand, who often adapted her designs to the available materials and production sites. The swivel chair has been reinterpreted by Cassina while remaining faithful to the original design, with an exquisite solid wood construction in which the company's craftsmanship excellence and attention to every detail of the carpentry are evident.
