Chromed functionalist sofa by Viliam Chlebo, 1970´s, Czechoslovakia

This lounge sofa is typical for the socialist period of design in 1970/1980s. Produced by kodreta myjava, designed by viliam chlebo, czechoslovakia. The sofa was a part of a new inovative design period in czechoslovakia. When designers played with chrome bending and different uses of seating cushions. The seats are very comfortable. Original beige/natural linen fabric. The cushions are easily removable and can be easily cleaned. This one we had cleaned of course. The sofa is in a very good, vintage condition. The chrome in very good condition. See the attached photo. The fabric is original and shows some use wear. Beautiful and elegant piece. Height: 74 cm. Lenght: 148 cm. Depth: 75 cm.
