1970s “GE 460” Chair by Hans J. Wegner for Getama, Denmark

A beautiful 'GE 460' lounge chair designed by Hans J. Wegner, manufactured by Getama in Denmark in the 1970s. This iconic chair features a sculptural beech wood frame paired with a blue upholstered seat and back. The elegant design combines rounded with straight shapes, the backwards tilted seat contributes to its nice seating experience and all together this chair is a lovely find of mid-century modern furniture. An eye-catching piece by one of the greatest names in Scandinavian design! Labeled under the seat as shown in photos. The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
