Bridal globe

Bridal globe in very good condition dating from the beginning of the 19th century - Napoleon III. Rare and complete globe with bridal crown, beautiful gold metal details as well as the red cushion resting on a blackened wooden base. Object intended to collect the bride's flower crown and to preserve wedding memories. The mirrors symbolize, according to their shapes, happiness within the home, fertility, fidelity… the more the years passed, the more the bridal globe resembled a real cabinet of curiosities (photos, locks of hair, medals…). Height 54 cm – width 34 cm – depth 22 cm. Personal delivery possible in Nantes Sud or Haute-Goulaine.
