Armchair by Theo Ruth for Artifort, 1950s

Early piece designed by theo ruth for artifort. Features a black leatherette backrest and orange fabric upholstery upon the seating. Seating can easily be ‘folded’ or disassembled while the piece features scissor like legs from beech. Due to age and use, the chair shows some overall wear as scratches to the legs, some wear to the fabric and a small tear to the right side of the backrest which can easily be repaired. Stunning design from the 1950s which is not often to be found anymore.
