Kartell ashtray/trinket tray by Sergio Asti

Trinket tray/ashtray, designed by Sergio Asti (1926–2021) for Kartell. Vintage piece in chrome-plated metal and plastic, made in Italy in the 1960s. Item in good condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age (see photos). 24 cm X 24 cm. 560 g. Fast and careful shipping. Sergio Asti was one of the first Italian industrial designers and one of the founders of ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Many of his designs are part of the collections of prestigious design museums such as MoMA in New York.
