Small Art Nouveau display cabinet 1900 – Walnut and amber glass

For sale: a superb small display cabinet from the Art Nouveau period (early 20th century). This atypical and elegant piece stands out with its organic lines and asymmetry characteristic of the Belle Époque. Details and finishes: Material: Solid wood (probably walnut) with a beautiful golden patina. Showcase: Main door with a plant motif cut from the wood, opening onto display shelves. Storage: An open niche on the left and a small glass-fronted lower compartment. Hardware: Original amber-coloured faceted glass door knobs, in very good condition. Style: Close to the École de Nancy (Majorelle / Gallé). The piece is sound and stable. Normal signs of use for its age that give it all its charm. No major missing sections in the wood cutouts.
