This Louis-Philippe sideboard in solid pitch pine captivates with the strength of its wood grain: deep, almost graphic veins that make each door a work of art in its own right. Overflowing cornice, gilded brass hardware, imposing proportions without heaviness: a piece of character that fully embraces its era. Materials: solid pitch pine with exceptional grain in honey and caramel tones. Original gilded brass hardware: the handles, lock entry, and rosettes are in very good overall condition. Features: this antique sideboard consists of two drawers in the upper part. In the lower part, it opens with two framed panel doors to a spacious interior, equipped with two shelves (non-adjustable in height). The stout console feet provide stability to the whole. The key is decorative, as the lock is no longer functional. Renovation: the piece has been gently sanded to remove its damaged old varnish, then cleaned and left in raw wood. The drawer slides have been reviewed. Dimensions: L121 X D49 X H152.5. Upper drawer: L89.5 X H9. Lower drawer: L90 X H10. Cupboard: L105 X D38 X H97. Spacing between the shelves from top to bottom: 32.5-30.5-31.5. A 19th-century sideboard with a strong character, equally at home in a chic country interior or in a more contemporary space seeking a statement piece. Its exceptional grain makes it a unique item.
