Blue model vp1 flowerpot pendant lamp by Verner Panton, 1960s

Verner panton flowerpot pendant light for louis poulsen, denmark designed in 1969. This pendant is an early example of the panton flowerpot model and features a blue enamel lampshade with red interior to the smaller suspended bowl. It consists of two semi-circular spheres facing each other. The later versions of the flowerpot pendants are made of painted metal. It has been rewired with a dark blue fabric covered cord. In working condition. There are no chips or scratches to the enamel.
