Egyptian Bedouin carpet a lee, 286x46 cm

Authentic egyptian bedouin carpet, bought in the 80s from a bedouin from marsah matrouh, near libya. This type of carpet is woven, with the wool of the sheep of this bedouin, under his tent, on a rudimentary loom. Nothing to do with a kilim that imitates berber or arabic designs but is woven on a modern loom. He has a small moth hole (see photo) and another, very small, that I had not seen. This carpet, a true work of folk art, can be used in a corridor or hung on a wall like a tapestry.
