The extra-large arc lamp from the 1970s is a remarkable example of sophisticated italian mid-century modern design and craftsmanship. The lamp features a gracefully curved adjustable chrome arc, over 2, 5 m long, which extends from a sturdy base, creating a floating effect for the light source. The lamp provides an adjustable up/down tilt and the ability to increase the extension of the headband. There is over 1 meter of adjustment distance, giving many set-up possibilities. The base is made of two travertine pieces with different hues, providing stability while enhancing the luxurious aesthetic of the piece. The most eye-catching element is the murano glass shade, which is beautifully hand-blown with a delicate, wavy cappuccino pattern. The glass has a warm, diffused glow when illuminated, highlighting the artistry of venetian glassmaking. This type of lamp is reminiscent of iconic mid-century italian designs, combining functionality with artistic expression. It would make a statement piece in a contemporary or vintage-inspired interior, adding elegance and ambient lighting to a space. Our team checked the lamp. It works properly. The original wiring is preserved with a button switch placed on the cord. The floor lamp is in original vintage condition with minor traces of use slightly visible on the chrome-plated steel and marble. Cord length 480 cm. The lamp requires an e27 bulb.
