Antique Afghan Rug, 205x130 Cm, Hand-Knotted. Large, semi-antique Afghan wool rug, entirely handmade. This rug from the 1960s and 1970s is in good condition. The fringes are very worn in places. See scans. The wool has retained its thickness and suppleness. The knotting of this beautiful piece is quite dense, with approximately 160, 000 knots per square meter. This rug is not a new piece; many flaws are visible, resulting from its past use. It was handcrafted using natural materials and dyes. Its imperfections attest to this manufacturing process. Cleaned in an environmentally friendly manner. Dimensions: 205 cm long. 130 cm wide.
