Componibili caissons model KS 4970 by Anna Castelli Ferrieri for Kartell, 1967

Great classic of the plastic design furniture of the sixties, this column is composed of 2 open boxes ivory color, model 4970, including one on wheels. The whole is dissociable and therefore makes it possible to orient the openings as it wishes. Designed using an abs injection molding process, these square-based boxes are no longer produced by kartell and are becoming rarer. The sleek design of the componibili (understand "modular" in italian) is transported in a jianly: small, rolling and practical, it can blend into all spaces of the house and adapts to all uses. Singular but all-purpose, allied with small spaces as well as large ones, this nomad of the décor will always find where to sit... For designer anna castelli ferrieri, "the stackable storage furniture, equipped with casters, allowed everyone to modify their living space, to shape it according to their desires, without cluttering themselves with the many conformisms". Exemplary in very good condition, no claws, and beautiful patina turned white.
