Classic vintage armchair by A. Kropacek and K. Kozelka, Czechoslovakia, 1950s

One of the iconic armchairs designed by the Czechoslovak designer duo Antonín Kropáček and Karel Kozelka in the 1950s. This armchair has been renovated in our workshop, where we breathe new life into furniture every day. Of great nobility due to its size, it nonetheless displays a sober appearance and draws attention with its atypical shape. Composed of two profiled inclinations thanks to adapted technology, it still captivates the eye of design enthusiasts today. The renovation of this armchair involved removing the old upholstery, cleaning the wood, restoring its original colour, and improving the seat springs and straps. The upholstery is made of new Belgian jacquard fabric with visible geometric patterns reminiscent of labyrinths. The texture of the fabric is pleasant to the touch. The wood has a slight sheen. The armchairs are available in two pieces. The price is negotiable for the purchase of a set.
