For the design of this chair, the Power Play Club Chair (1990), the well-known Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry (1929 - 2025) was inspired by apple crates. The frame consists of curved woven strips of maple plywood (5 cm wide, 0.8 cm thick) with only 10 screw connections; all other connections are glued. It is not only a work of art; the chair is very comfortable and slightly springy. This particular chair dates from 2001. Marked. Produced by Knoll. The chair is in very good condition. Seat height 41 cm.
