1950s Unique lounge chair in the style of Grete Jalk, Denmark

A beautiful lounge chair in the style of grete jalk, manufactured in denmark around 1950. The piece rests on a black lacquered, tubular metal base. The crossed structure of the base gives it a lovely modern yet elegant appeal! The bright red fabric upholstery is new and contrasts really nicely to the dark base. All together a unique and very comfortable piece with armrests, a gently tilted back and a nice ergonomic shape of the seat. This piece will be a great addition to the interior! It remains in very good vintage condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
