Large vintage table lamp in glazed ceramic, oriental style, imitation archaic bronze, fringed lampshade, 1950s-1960s. A magnificent large table lamp that combines the elegance of mid-20th century ceramic design with an aesthetic inspired by ancient Chinese bronze vases. This piece stands out for its imposing presence and its ability to create a warm and refined atmosphere in a living room, office, or entrance. High-quality ceramic with a glazed finish in amber and dark brown tones (honey effect). Inspired by the ritual Hu vases of the Zhou dynasty, it features detailed reliefs of Taotie motifs (mythical masks), geometric friezes, and ancient calligraphy incised on the neck. Two elegant side handles shaped like mythical creatures (Fu lions or dragons) give a unique character to its silhouette. The base rests on a circular turned wood pedestal (or wood imitation) that elevates and stylises the lamp. Rigid fabric lampshade in the shape of a pagoda or lobed dome. Adorned with a delicate cream/beige braided fringe that softly and warmly filters the light.
