Japanese jewelry box nineteenth hiramaki lacquer

Jewelry box in lacquered wood, japanese, nineteenth century. It is signed at the bottom right. It depicts birds flying among reeds and flowers. The bottom of the box uses the hiramaki technique: it is a lacquer decoration technique that uses a gold powder decoration covered with transparent lacquer (maki-e flat).
