Handmade wooden bookshelf, 1960s

Probably one of a kind. A unique stick cabinet, handmade, with shelves of varying depths. The round wooden posts (sticks) support the brown lacquered pine boards. The shelves rest on wooden dowels inserted into the posts (without any other fixings). A beautiful example of cabinet construction with minimal resources. The stick cabinet consists of 6 long shelves, 5 shorter shelves, 8 long sticks, and 4 shorter sticks. We secured it to the wall with two long screws, as it lacked stability. Average to good vintage condition. Visible signs of wear. The bottom shelf has a repair (insert) and is weathered on the underside (otherwise, no issues). The other shelves have a few holes and/or cracks here and there. Not perfect, but certainly full of character.
